Edit Partition Access

Tip

A partition is a separate database within the Active Steward instance. Partitions are used for different projects, where the data is kept apart. Users need access to different partitions depending on the projects they are working on.

Warning

Your user account will need permission to edit partition access - Edit User Roles.

1. 👆 Navigate to Settings 👉 Users 👉 "List All Users".

2. 👆 Click the "Login Name" of the user account to edit.

3. 👆 Select the checkbox to enable access to the relevant partition.

Partitions that you do not have access to will appear greyed out and are non-editable.

4. 👆 Select an option in the "Role (Optional)" column to set the permissions the user will have. By default, the user is given the role selected in the "Role:" field above.

5. 👆 Untick the Enabled box next to a partition to remove the users access.

6. 🥳 The users access has been updated. The rows will turn green when the updates are saved.
